Julie Fooshee, LISW

Julie Fooshee is a Licensed Independent Social Worker, and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, who received her master’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University.  She has 28 years of experience working in outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment settings for mental health and substance use disorders.  She has provided counseling services within private practice settings for depression, anxiety, grief and loss, co-dependency, work issues, substance use disorders. 

 

She has specialized training in CBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based treatment approaches.  She is very grateful to be a part of the team at Affirmations Psychological Services, an organization that has a focus of respect and full acceptance of all levels of diversity.
