Jessica Alexander, LPCC | Counselor Supervisee

Jessica (she/her/hers) is Licensed Professional Counselor. She sees both children and adults for in-person and virtual appointments.

Jessica completed her undergraduate studies at Capital University in Psychology and Sociology. Her Master’s is from Wright State University with a focus on Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling-Severe Disabilities. Her educational experiences have provided her with opportunities to work with children and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, disability related stress, grief, lifestyle changes, and trauma. In addition, she has experience working with children in schools on behavioral concerns and impulsivity.

Jessica prioritizes creating a safe atmosphere and considers her work to be client-centered. She knows “every person has their own unique qualities, strengths, needs and desires”. She will collaborate with you to create a personalized plan to achieve your therapy goals using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), polyvagal theory, internal-family systems (IFS) and more.

In her spare time, she enjoys being active with her dog, spending time with family, reading, concerts, and traveling.
